The Alberta Chito Kai Association believes in establishing, maintaining, and promoting a diverse and inclusive environment within our sport and community.
Alberta Chito Kai has a strong and accessible worldview and is committed to diversity and inclusion that reflects the broad diversity of Alberta’s communities. We value both diversity and inclusion as a strength within any community and sport, and actively support and respect all individuals. We work to establish each individual's needs to ensure health, safety, and personal well-being while training in Chito Kai Karate.
The Alberta Chito Kai Association acknowledges that where we practice and call home is located on Treaty 6 and 7 Territory, a land of history, the traditional meeting ground and home for many Indigenous Peoples, including Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot (Niitsitapi, Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, Métis Nation, the Nakota Sioux Peoples, and all people who make our homes in this beautiful province.
The Alberta Chito Kai Association full-heartedly believes that it is through the respect and appreciation of the diverse culture and races in our community, and all individuals who hold both visible and non-visible attributes that we can strengthen our community, cultivate our potential, and reach exceptional outcomes.
All persons are welcome in the art and sport of Chito Ryu Karate.
